Kathmandu. Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) chaired by Dr. Badri KC has been elected. In the voting for the new leadership on Thursday, KC was elected after defeating three other candidates for the post of president.
Dr. KC got 1 thousand 378 votes while his opponents Rajendra Kumar Sharma RK got 1 thousand 281 votes, Mahesh Kumar Shrestha got 1 thousand 225 votes and Ravina Thapa got 47 votes.
Vice President Dr. Vinod Shrestha, Dr. Hemraj Sharma, Khagendra Neupane, Raju Regmi, Ram Sharan Sinkhra and Rowin Prasad Sherchan have been elected.
Similarly, Roshan Thapa was elected as the youth vice president with 2,468 votes, while Rozina Pradhan Rai was elected as the women vice president. Similarly, Gauriraj Joshi has been elected as the General Secretary. He got 2037 votes.
