Kathmandu. Mid-Valley International College (MVIC) and WiseAdmit have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the aim of connecting Nepali students with international education, emerging technologies, and innovation. The collaboration will expand academic and technical ties with the prestigious Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) in China.

The collaboration with NUAA, considered one of China’s leading universities in the fields of aeronautics, engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, drone technology, and innovation, is expected to provide world-class educational opportunities to Nepali students.

As per the agreement, a team of professors, researchers and academic experts from NUAA will come to Nepal. The team will conduct special educational programs at MVIC on AI, robotics, drone technology, Chinese language, international trade and innovation. MVIC will remain as the special partner institution for Nepal for this initiative.

Through the collaborative program, students, teachers, and young innovators will gain first-hand knowledge about cutting-edge technologies and innovation that are transforming the global economy. They will also gain insights into AI, automation, smart manufacturing, drone technology, entrepreneurship, and the potential of cross-border trade.

The agreement will also provide Nepali students with opportunities to participate in summer immersion programs, incubation programs, and innovation-based study-observation programs in China. It is believed that through such programs, students will be able to closely understand China’s rapidly evolving research environment, innovation system, and international educational practices.

Speaking at the agreement signing ceremony, MVIC Managing Director Rital Rana said the collaboration reflects the college’s commitment to internationalization, innovation, entrepreneurship, and future-oriented education. She said connecting Nepali students with world-class learning environments and emerging technologies is the need of the hour.
