Kathmandu. Through the National Conference on Drinking Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, a 20-point future strategy declaration on drinking water, sanitation and hygiene has been issued.

The National Conference on Drinking Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, which started in Kathmandu on Tuesday, has finished issuing a 20-point manifesto on drinking water, sanitation and hygiene.

In the conference, the representatives of the three levels of government, various government agencies, private sector and non-governmental sector, civil society and development partner sectors involved in the sector of drinking water, sanitation and hygiene signed the joint review of the water supply, sanitation and hygiene sector at the state level in all the seven provinces.

Former Secretary of the Government of Nepal, Suman Sharma, said that after 9 months of discussion, the next strategy declaration regarding drinking water, sanitation and hygiene was released on Wednesday.

The national conference, which lasted for two days, reviewed the progress, targeted programs and achievements of various issues in the water and sanitation sector and decided the future strategy.
