IPL 2020, SRH vs CSK Highlights: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 20 runs. After some late carnage from Ravindra Jadeja CSK reached 167/6 after 20 overs, CSK’s bowling attack strangled the chase as SRH ended with 147/8 in their 20 overs.

In a shock move, CSK kicked-off things in Dubai with a new opening pair in the form of Sam Curran and Faf du Plessis. While Curran smashed some boundaries in his 21-ball stay at the crease, Du Plessis was sent packing on a golden duck. However, after the openers were removed inside the powerplay over by Sandeep Sharma, Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu did a brilliant rescue operation for CSK. The pair added 81 runs for the third wicket, before Rayudu was dismissed by Khaleel Ahmed on 41 (34). Jadeja remained unbeaten on 25 (10). SRH were rocked early by Sam Curran (1/18). Kane Williamson (57) held the chase together even as CSK kept picking wickets. With the required run rate climbing, SRH capitulated under pressure and CSK saw the win through.
