Today is the last day to secure Machhapuchhre Bank’s dividend
Kathmandu. Machhapuchhre Bank has called the Annual General Meeting on Thursday, October 18th. The annual general meeting will start at 11 am at Hotel Pokhara Grand Pardi.
In that meeting, the bank will pass a proposal to distribute 13.30% bonus of paid-up capital and 0.70% cash dividend for tax purposes to the shareholders from the profit of the last financial year.
For the purposes of the general meeting, the bank is going to close the book for one day on Monday, October 8th.
Therefore, from today until Sunday, October 7, the permanent shareholders will be able to participate in the proposed dividend and the meeting. The dividend, which has been approved by Nepal Rastra Bank, will now be distributed to the shareholders only after the next annual general meeting of the bank approves it. Also, merger or acquisition with other suitable banks and financial institutions.
There is also a proposal to authorize the board of directors to perform related actions and amend the bank’s charter and regulations. The meeting will also pass proposals including appointing an auditor.
