Kathmandu. The new notes for Dashain will be valid from October 29th. Nepal Rastra Bank has prepared to provide the facility of new currency notes on Dashain and Tihar this year as well.

Like last year, this year too, the same facility will be available at the rate of 18,500 rupees per person.

New notes will be available through the head office, regional offices and banks and financial institutions of the National Bank.

For banks and financial institutions, the National Bank has prepared to provide new notes according to the number of customers and the demand of the institution. Demand for new notes is high mainly for Dashain.
