There will be a 20-day handicraft fair from November 7th to 11th

Kathmandu. The 20th Handicraft Trade Fair will be held in Kathmandu from 7th to 11th November. The 18th handicraft competition will be held in this fair.
A press conference was held today on the 1st of Kartik, Wednesday. The fair will be held at Hotel Annapurna in Kathmandu from 7th to 11th November.
Speaking at the press conference, Prachanda Shakya, President of the Nepal Handicraft Federation, asked entrepreneurs, artists, entrepreneurs to support local and international market promotion of Nepali handicraft items produced by Kaligarhs, to produce new exportable items
He said that the competition was organized with the aim of encouraging, exchanging information among entrepreneurs about product design and color combination in accordance with the wishes of importers of the international market, and sharing skills, technology, design and knowledge among domestic and foreign buyers and sellers.
There will be around 150 stalls of handicraft items in the fair. It is said that an attractive cash prize has been arranged for one of the best stalls in the fair.
Traders from India, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh and other countries will participate in the exhibition. The trade fair will be attended by the members of the federation and the provinces representing different geographical areas, district handicraft associations and specific associations.
Chairman Shakya has informed that metalwork, gold and silver, cotton and Dhaka goods, pashmina leather goods, natural fiber and bamboo goods and other handicrafts will be exhibited and sold in the exhibition.
